Iris Van Inspired Typeface

"Serene Swirl" is an experimental typeface inspired by Iris van Herpen’s fusion of fluidity and structure. Drawing from her signature blend of fluidity and structure, I designed three modular components: rigid squares connected by flowing, curved lines. The result is a typeface that visually balances tension and grace, echoing van Herpen’s fusion of movement and geometry. Each letter captures the surreal, transformative spirit of her designs, creating a striking interplay between confinement and freedom.
